Hi! Thanks for stopping and checking out my blog!!

I’m Kimberly. Most anyone that knows me well enough ends up calling me Kimmie at some point and it’s all at hear from my family. When I was younger I despised it. I didn’t want ANYONE calling me Kimmie. I would provide a prompt “My name is Kim or Kimberly.” Now, I’m over it. It’s endearing and there is no way I can convince my grandparents to call me anything else. Well, maybe a few other things but they aren’t appropriate to put up here.

 I’m currently a full-time student and stay at home mom, but my passion is cooking and more specifically baking. Nothing beats spending hours in the kitchen and making yummy goodies for my family. And since the kiddos like to hang around in the kitchen with me, it’s a good way for us to spend time together and make memories. Yeah, I’m sappy like that. I also enjoy photography. I’m still learning a lot about that but it can come in handy when I’m especially proud of my treats, or kids, or just think I can make something pretty to look at.

My husband, Michael, is the greatest man ever. Yes, I’m biased. I’m allowed to be. And together we have 2 beautiful little girls. Our biggest little is called Midget. She can thank her dad for that. He called her that when she was in utero. Midget is quite the momma’s girl. Our littlest little  is her daddy’s, but what do expect when she spends every day with him (he is a stay at home dad). The littlest little appears to be a normal little one, but has caused more stress in the first month of her life than Midget has caused in her entire life. Littlest was born with a heart condition, specifically Tetralogy of Fallot, and had to have open heart surgery…at FOUR days old. As if giving birth isn’t stressful enough on its own. But, all appears well and good so far. 

I’m working on my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I am a slacker by nature so it is really hard for me to motivate myself to keep up with everything. And that being said, this blog will suffer from it. I know, I know. I’m sorry. But family comes first, then school, then cooking, and then the blog. Hopefully, though time will go rather quickly, and I’ll be finished with school and I will be able to keep up with this blog on a regular occasion. So that being said, I hope you enjoy this adventure with me.
